Did anyone catch a recent news item about doctor's injecting sugar directly
into the knee? It is supposed to actually help osteoporosis and eventually,
the patient regains full use of his leg and is painfree. I wish I'd seen all
of this story. I wonder why the sugar would help and I'm wondering if you
could just soak a cloth in sugar water and hold it onto a painful (Arthritic
site) and if that would help any?

You're probably referring to prolotherapy.

I suspect (don't know) that you may mean osteoarthritis, rather than
osteoporosis.

Disclaimer: I have no medical training and no opinion on the safety or
efficacy of prolotherapy. Contact your health care provider to determine
the safety and relevance of any therapy to your particular case.
